Mary Jane (MJ) has been a dedicated advocate for the neurodiverse community in Tauranga since 2016. With a degree majoring in psychology, MJ possesses extensive experience in leadership, adult education, and change management. As a devoted mother to two neurodiverse boys, she brings her personal passion for community engagement and change management into her professional endeavors.
MJ is highly skilled in managing change and has a proven track record in coaching parents with children who have autism and ADHD/ASD. Her ability to guide and support families through transitions, challenges, and growth phases is a testament to her deep understanding and empathy.
A Proven Leader in Neurodiverse Support
In 2017, MJ initiated and facilitated the A-Typical Mums support group, providing a safe space for mothers navigating the complexities of neurodiversity. In 2023, she took over the leadership of Asperger's Connections, creating Spectrum Connections, continuing her commitment to fostering connections and support within the community.
MJ is deeply integrated within the neurodiverse community of Tauranga and is recognized for her heartfelt dedication to the well-being of mums, families, and the broader community.

Sessions are 1 hour long and available either online or in person at my office at Basestation, 148 Durham Street, Tauranga.
FeesThe standard session fee is $130 incl GST. A reduced rate of $110 is available with a referral from Spectrum Connections or Vicki K.
Payment is required prior to the session.
